Repairing your Hoover Cooker Oven
Here are some error codes that might help you to repair your Hoover cooker if it has become faulty, they are meant for guidance only and in no way are they a definative answer to any breakdown, you will need to do some fault finding, before attempting any repairs you should isolate the cooker from the mains supply.
ER01
Faulty communications between electronic control boards
Try checking connections and connector blocks between the boards for damage.
ER02
Faulty programme selector switch.
Try checking the oven function switch, replace if broken.
ER03
Same fault as ER02
ER04
NTC sensor on main control board is open circuit
Try checking the wiring to the NTC also check the NTC
ER05
NTC sensor on main control board registers as short circuit.
Check the NTC and wiring.
ER06
Main motherboard temperature is above 85'c
Check to find out whats caused the overheating.
ER07
Food probe temperature NTC detected as open circuit
Check food probe, wiring and connection to main board.
ER08
Food probe temperature NTC is open circuit
Check food probe and all connections
ER09
Food probe temperature NTC esceeded 85'c
Check food probe and all connections
ER10
Oven temperature probe NTC open circuit
Check the ovens NTC and all connections.
ER11
Oven probe NTC short circuit
Check oven NTC and all connections
ER12
Oven case temperature exceeds 300'c
Check why the oven has overheated
ER13
Oven temperature not reached after 105 minutes
Check for damaged elements etc
ER14
Oven timer is faulty.
ER15
Door sensor is open circuit.
Check for reasons why oven door not closing wiring etc
ER16
Display board NTC is open circuit
Check wiring and NTC
ER17
Display board NTC is open circuit
Check NTC and wiring
ER18
Display board temp is above 75'c
Check why overheating
ER19
EEprom failure on main board
Change main board
ER20
Software error
Check control board and restart oven
