If your Hotpoint cooker doesnt heat up as it once did or there is no heat at all and the oven is cold, it could be the fan oven element or grill element has failed, usually you can just remove the panel in the back of the oven to check the condition of the element, if this shows any signs of damage splits or is distorted it is most probably no good, if it looks ok you will need to test it for continuity with a multi meter, before attempting any repairs make sure you disconnect the cooker from the mains supply.
